Olive Ink Tattoo is one of only a handful of studios in the area offering permanent cosmetic tattooing. Many clients turn to permanent makeup to decrease their morning routine. Others turn to it as a solution if they’re uncomfortable doing their own makeup or like the idea of perfecting their base look.
Before submitting your Tattoo project proposal please consider the following.
COVERUPS OF EXISTING TATTOOS OR SCARS
Though coverups are not my main focus, I do consider them. If your project proposal is intended to cover an existing tattoo or scar it is helpful to send an image of the tattoo to be covered or the scar with a brief description of what you would like to cover it with. This helps me determine whether what you are wanting is possible, and whether I am up for the challenge.

REFERENCE IMAGES
Please provide reference images with your project proposal/request. Reference images of tattoos by other artists cannot be replicated as they are likely someone’s custom tattoo design. They can be used for inspiration only. Please be sure to bring these along with you at the consultation.
GENERAL TATTOO DESIGN
Custom designs are initiated following an in person consultation and a nonrefundable deposit to secure the booking. To Ensure that I fully understand your vision, please provide one or more visual references at consultation. Reference images are not to be replicated rather to be used for inspiration.

Chemotherapy and Radiation full treatments ~ prophylactic chemotherapy is generally safe to proceed
Active dermatological disorders, (i.e. rosacea, eczema, psoriasis)
Eyelash extensions must be removed prior to eyeliner
Sick with flu / fever
Active herpes anywhere on the face

Lasik or Cataract Surgery ~ 1 month prior and wait 3 months post-op
Latisse or any other eyelash enhancement products including mascara ~ 2 weeks off
Botox or Disport ~ 1 day since they cannot lie flat for at least 5 hours
Fillers (i.e. Juvaderm, Silk, Voluma, Sculptra, etc.) ~ 1 week
Fat transfer in lips ~ wait 1 month for swelling to subside
Accutane full dose ~ 1 year (half-dose or prophylactic does needs medical clearance
Suntanned skin ~ 1 month
Retinols, glycolic acid (A.H.A.), Vitamin C peels ~ 4 weeks
